Going Green
In this day and age Americans are becoming more concerned about energy conservation and taking care of our precious planet Earth. There are simple things that you can do starting TODAY that will reduce the carbon footprint that you and your family will leave behind.
Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle
Remember when you were in school and every year the school would set aside a few weeks to teach you about recycling and conservation? It is now time to start doing the things that you were taught.
Reduce the amount of garbage that you create, don’t buy products that are over packaged. I know that it is so much easy to buy the premeasured medicine but just take a look at all of the extra garbage that product has created. Instead buy the single bottle of medicine and carry a spoon with you!
Reuse recyclable items. When given an option to buy something made from recycled materials or new material, always choose to reuse!
Recycle materials such as glass, paper and metals instead of adding to the landfill. People are really starting to turn in scrap metal for cash because the cost of metal is up.
Don’t be lazy, take the extra time to reduce, reuse and recycle. You will benefit your family, your community, your country and the generations yet to come.
